During a recent interview with BBC Radio’s Steve Wright In The Afternoon, Kurt Angle clarified his status in professional wrestling.

Replying to the host asking what Angle meant by ‘he’s done’ after the TNA Maximum Impact tour, Angle said he never talked about retirement. He added that this is just his final match in the United Kingdom with TNA, and that his contract is up.

Angle first mentioned he was taking time off during an appearance on the Mark Madden show in Pittsburgh.

Impact Wrestling

Tomorrow night’s episode of Impact Wrestling looks to be the final one to air on Destination America.

The show’s timeslot was pushed back and Impact will air at 11 p.m. EST; a show called “Mountain Monsters” about a team called the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS) is scheduled to have a marathon air tomorrow until Impact airs.

The following week, Destination America has a new “Epic Homes” show listed, and Impact Wrestling is not on the schedule. TNA Impact Wrestling will move to POP TV on January 5th, where the tournament semifinals and finals will take place.
