On why he thinks Ronda Rousey’s loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 makes her less likely to appear at WrestleMania 32:
AK: If you look at Ronda Rousey the great irony of her is that undefeated win streak is more important to WWE and outside organizations than to UFC. You can argue Ronda Rousey losing is good for the UFC because we don’t know how many more fights she was going to do as an undefeated champion. With interests from Hollywood and all these other places. She had communications with WWE. She’s said she wants to be a Diva. Her just winning and winning and winning kind of put UFC behind the 8 ball and gave her all the leverage. Now that she lost there’s so much money in a rematch. The interest in Ronda Rousey is now limited to, “Ok, can she get back on her feet? Can she beat Holly Holm in her potential rematch?” With WWE you can’t bring her in as this undefeated women’s champion. Her losing that match will be the elephant in the room. A heel would have to address that. You couldn’t just act like she is still undefeated. At that point what are you? Damaged goods. You have to wait until she’s regained that mojo before you can book her as this real big deal again. I’m not saying she’s going to have a difference in the buy rate. It would just really awkward to bring her in at this point with the fact she’s coming in off this monumental upset.
On whether it’s time to split The Dudley Boyz up and give them singles runs:
AK: WWE is clearly at the point with The Dudleyz where they are this attraction in terms of a novelty act. There is a lot of value in Bubba Ray going solo and being a singles star. Much like we saw in his run with TNA. There’s a lot of value in him working with a Roman Reigns. Working with one these younger guys. With all that he knows about being a heel and how to work with these up and coming babyfaces I think there’s a lot of stock in that. The Dudley Boyz were kind of ushered off to the side the last time we saw them before RAW. They lost to The New Day and then the next night on RAW they lost a six man tag team match. Clearly we have seen almost the last of The Dudley Boyz. I do think we are going to get that last blow off match at TLC. It would be very intriguing to see Bubba Ray on his own. Seeing what he can do in WWE given how good he was in TNA. I know WWE is aware of this. I’m not sure if they will pull the trigger on this. Now that The Usos are here they are the big babyfaces. The focus is going to go on this young up and coming, top tier tag team and The Dudleyz days are numbered as a tag team.
