On some pro wrestling fans’ responses to the comments he made on his last WrestleZone Daily appearance about how he didn’t like the finish to Hell in a Cell with The Wyatt Family laying out Undertaker:
BA: Some people took something I said wrong on our premiere installment. When I talked about the Undertaker and how I was upset at his legacy being ruined, in my opinion, by having The Wyatt Family beat him down. Instead nothing should have happened. He just should have, after he lost to Lesnar, the legacy should have just ended. I didn’t mean that he should have retired. Just that that night he should have walked out with his head held high rather than being beaten down. To me that just hurt the image of the Undertaker after all those years of greatness. I just didn’t want to see that beat down. I wasn’t suggesting he retire. At all.
On what he would like to see happen in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament:
BA: First of all. There’s another thing I’d like to clear up. Was it coincidence that I was in the UK at the same time that Seth Rollins was in the UK? Somebody tied me to that and wanted to know if I had anything to do with this incident. I am here to tell you I did not. Ok.
So now we will talk about what I’d like to see happen. I don’t know what’s going to happen. I don’t want to know what’s going to happen. Here’s what I’d love to see happen. Somehow The Authority gets involved in this tournament, toward the end of it, and Triple H is a last minute entrant. Triple H wins the tournament, WINS THE TOURNAMENT! Here he is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion and it’s still under the auspice of The Authority. Seth Rollins calls him and says, “Hey, congratulations, you know it’s my belt?” Triple H says, “Listen. It’s in the family here. It’s in The Authority.” This would be great. As time goes on every few weeks we keep hearing from Seth Rollins, “Hey, how’s my belt?” “Hey, I got it, don’t worry about it,” Triple H says. Then right around Royal Rumble time Rollins comes back but not physically, he may not be able to yet. Somehow puts his hand on the belt and says, “This is my belt.” Hunter of course says, “Well, it’s around my waist but we’re all members of the same family.” Little by little this starts to accelerate and finally Seth Rollins says, “It’s mine and I want it back at WrestleMania.” What a perfect opportunity to main event at WrestleMania. Seth Rollins coming back now with the fans on his side against The Authority’s Triple H who has the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. What a sweet victory that would be.
His thoughts on whether or not the Survivor Series 1997 “Montreal Screwjob” angle was all a work:
BA: To this day I think that everybody was in on it. Vince McMahon I think was suffering financially and could not afford Bret’s contract anymore. They needed a way out of this thing. I think it was a joint decision by Bret and Vince. I don’t know this for a fact, this is my theory. I think it was a joint decision on, “How are we going to get out of this? I can’t take care of you. If you have to go you have to go but we have to do something here.” Bret really needed to leave not as a loser and I think they came up with this angle and Hebner and Shawn Michaels knew about it as well. What a great thing? Where Vince McMahon probably said, “Punch me and let’s make it look better.” I just think that’s the way it is.
(Bill then does a Bret Hart impression) But I can’t tell you how many times people have said to me.
Sorry, that was my bad Bret Hart impression.
