Dragon screw by Dash. Dash is working over English’s knee. Dawson takes English down and wraps his knee around the ring post. Dash and Dawson take turns slamming English’s knee into the post. Dawson puts an Indian Deathlock on English. Slingshot suplex by Dawson for a two count. Dawson sets English up in a tree of woe. Dash and Dawson just wail on English’s knee. Their attack is relentless. English manages to tag in Gotch who cleans house. Gotch tags in English, but Dawson chop blocks him once again. Dash and Dawson toss Gotch into the steel steps. Dawson puts another Indian death lock on English as Dash dives off the top rope to stomp on English’s knee. Dawson slaps on a reverse figure-four. At this point, English has no choice but to tap out.

Samoa Joe makes his way to the ring to address his actions last week. Joe says all week people have been asking him “why?” Joe says he took Finn Bálor on his back during the Dusty Rhoads Tag Team Classic. When they won it all, he asked Bálor for a title match. Bálor made the right choice by granted him the match, but Bálor did nothing when General Manger William Regal took it away. Joe goes on to say that the minute he stepped foot into NXT he deserve, no was owed a NXT title match. Before Joe can finish, Bálor runs down to the ring. A group of referees get in Bálor way. Joe looks to be leaving the ring, when he pushes a referee into Bálor then locks in the Coquina clutch. Bálor is out in the middle of the ring. Joe grabs the title, poses with it and walks away.
