brock lesnarAccording to Nielsen’s TV Twitter ratings, Sunday night’s WWE Hell in a Cell PPV ranked #3 among non-sporting events for the night.

The PPV had a unique audience of 1.862 million, which is up from the 1.597 million that Night of Champions took in last month.

Hell in a Cell had total Twitter impressions of 17.879 million, which is also up from the 15.975 million that Night of Champions took in.

Current Plans for Brock Lesnar’s WWE Return

Following last night’s WWE Hell in a Cell PPV, Brock Lesnar is not expected to return to WWE TV until the early part of 2016 to begin his build to WrestleMania 32, reports F4WOnline.com.

A potential curve ball in WWE’s creative plans, however, is Randy Orton’s current injury. John Cena’s TV absence likely won’t have much affect on Lesnar plans as WWE has been aware since the summer that Cena would be taking time off following Hell in a Cell. But with Randy Orton previously tapped to be one of WWE’s top babyfaces in Cena’s absence, and Lesnar’s willingness to work more WWE dates if WWE can pay him, it’s possible WWE might try to work him back into story lines if the company feels it’s necessary.
