The new Sting: Into The Light documentary was released this week, and one thing that Sting spoke about was the decision to have him lose to Triple H at Wrestlemania 31.
Sting says he went through with it because it was “the right thing to do” in what he thought (at the time) would be his only WWE match and final match of his career. Sting may have had plans for that to be his final match at the time, but he’s since competed in a singles match against Big Show that turned into a tag match on RAW, and against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions.
