Second Match: Group Knockout’s Brooke Tessmacher vs. Gail Kim in a TNA World Title Series Match
Kim and Tessmacher lock up. Kim with a side headlock and grapples Tessmacher down to the mat. Tessmacher grounds Kim. Kim with a armdrag takedown. Tessmacher with her own armdrag takedown. Kim tries to go for the tilt-a-whirl head scissors and Tessmacher counters with a rollup. Kim rolls up Tessmacher. Kim and Tessmacher exchange right hands. Tessmacher comes out of the corner with a flying clothesline and then hits a Frankensteiner, and Kim rolls to the apron. Tessmacher applies a variation of Cattle Mutilation, Kim easily gets out and catches Tessmacher in a top heel hook. Tessmacher gets out and hits a facebuster, but she misses a top rope elbowdrop. Kim drags Tessmacher to the corner and does the ringpost figure four, then brings her into the ring for a regular figure four and Tessmacher small packages Kim to pickup the victory.

Carter said that the series should be called the EC3 Memorial Screwjob Series. Carter said that his Aunt Dixie created this great tournament where everyone is on a level playing field, even though they shouldn’t because he’s the true champion. Carter said he’s the only true homegrown TNA talent and he deserves better than this, and it’s convenient how Austin Aries came back just in time for an opportunity like this. The World Title Series isn’t over until he wins.
