Triple H is the guest on this week’s sit down interview with Michael Cole, and below are some highlights:
-Cole brings up what Triple H has done with NXT this year and asks if Triple H ever thought this was possible for NXT. HHH responds by saying you shoot for the stars with those kinds of things, and his goal was to create another brand for WWE. He admitted he was hesitant to run the Barclays Center for Takeover Brooklyn, but said just when he thinks NXT is as big as it will get, it continues to grow.
-Triple H noted Takeover London is almost sold out.
-Triple H puts over the NXT presence on the main roster of WWE. He says guys like Neville and Kevin Owens are changing the feel of WWE. He noted the Divas Revolution began in NXT and he’s proud of where the WWE main roster is at because of NXT.
-Cole brings up Sting wrestling on Raw this week, and Triple H said a few years ago he thought that would have never happened, but he’s glad it did. He said him and Sting don’t see eye-to-eye, but Sting is nevertheless one of the biggest names in pro wrestling history. He said it will be a “feather” in Seth Rollins’ cap if he can defeat both John Cena and Sting in the same night and prove he’s the man in WWE.
