Sasha Banks Discusses Pulling Double Duty at WWE Takeover and SummerSlam, What Should Fans Expect at Takeover?, More

WWE NXT Womens Champion Sasha Banks recently spoke with Complex.com to hype this weekend’s WWE NXT Takeover Brooklyn and SummerSlam events. Below is a lengthy quote from Banks:

“What should they expect? They should expect the greatest women’s match they’ve ever seen in their whole life. That’s the match I’m going to have this Saturday. It’s crazy how far we’ve come, because me and Bayley started with each other.

My first real feud at NXT was against her, all of my matches were against her. To see how far I’ve come from 2012 to 2015, it’s almost full-circle that we’re coming back to this place and I get to have this match against her, and in our first Pay-Per-View outside of Florida, and it’s sold-out.”

On her and Kevin Owens pulling double duty this weekend:

“Oh, yeah, absolutely. It just shows that they put faith in me, especially as a woman. That’s just beyond crazy to me. Even [this past Monday], to have my match against Nikki Bella, I’m just like, “My life, it’s unbelievable right now.” It’s like so many things are happening and it just keeps getting bigger and better.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
