Kevin Owens comes out and says all he’s heard about this week is tapping out, but he doesn’t care. He said John Cena’s motto is ‘Never Give Up’, but his was ‘live to fight another day.’ Owens says he didn’t give up because he knew his family was depending on him, and all he knows is he brought the toughest fight Cena’s ever had. Owens says he doesn’t care what anyone thinks and he does what’s best for his career, and that’s exactly what he did on Monday night. Owens says Sheamus left them high and dry, and he saw no reason to be there, so he left and Rusev should’ve done the same instead of getting to second base with a Lana wannabe.

Rusev runs to the ring and hits Owens a few times, then we get back from a break to see Owens chopping Rusev in the corner. Rusev comes back with some headbutts, then Owens catches him with a straight kick and a cannonball in the corner. Owens gets a two count and follows with a codebreaker for another near fall, then they get up and trade punches. Rusev connects with a few kicks and goes for the Accolade, but Owens rolls outside and says he’s leaving.
