With no Chair Shot Reality this weekend on Wrestlezone, Josh Isenberg and Brian Gulish predict new champions and winners at WWE Battleground, which takes place tomorrow night in St. Louis.

R-Truth vs King Barrett
Brian Gulish: Barrett finally gets the upper hand on Truth. If they want the KOTR to mean anything now, or in the future, and for that matter – Barrett to be a serious player on the roster – he needs to go over here.
Josh Isenberg: I think Barrett needs to make quick work of this. Barrett continues to be misused and another gimmick that does not work. Bring Bad News back and let him develop a feud with a star, not a joke.
Prime Time Players vs. New Day:
Brian Gulish: I look for the PTP to retain. With the lack of title worthy tag teams, it is foolish to see “hot potato” played with title belts. Then again, maybe WWE finds comedy in the dire situation of the tag team ranks. Either way, PTP will go on to Summerslam as the champs.
Josh Isenberg: I think The New Day needs the WWE Tag Team Championships here. Not to the fault of Titus and Darren, but the titles mean more on New Day than it does for PTP. I feel like the tag titles, for whatever reason, are not as much of a priority on a weekly basis around the waists of the face.
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus:
Brian Gulish: This is a toss up for me, unless a swerve is coming at the end of the night with a cash in, I fully expect Sheamus to win. I refer back to Wrestlemania when Orton went over against Rollins, only for Seth to cash in later in the night as my precedent for this pick. However, I don’t think it’s Sheamus’ time to use that briefcase and he instead defeats Orton.
Josh Isenberg: I think Randy Orton wins. Sheamus will be the MITB briefcase holder and a loss does nothing because he can cash in and become the man in the snap of his fingers. I think Sheamus SHOULD win, but Orton will. Classic booking with a returning heel getting some revenge.
Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt:
Brian Gulish: Talk about “what have you done for me lately”?! A loss by either further drops them on the WWE ladder, and the question to me is who can survive another blow? The answer is Reigns, as he will ultimately get his due and capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. As for Wyatt, I don’t know anymore. If I stick to my initial thoughts on Bray from two years ago, I said “he won’t make it.” I want to see him make it now because of the “show” he brings and the crowd reaction he gets. That said, I am taking Wyatt here- though I wouldn’t be surprised if the ‘chosen one’ comes out on top.
Josh Isenberg: I agree with Brian here. I think Bray Wyatt wins, somehow with a distraction or some sort of confusing finish with lighting or some graphics of Reigns’ daughter on the screen. Roman Reigns will become champion one day, but it seems like he is further than ever right now getting to that spot. Both need to win, so maybe neither actually win.
