The numbers are in for WWE programming last night, which saw a 2 hour, edited version of Raw lead into a new edition of Tough Enough.
According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, the 2 hour Raw replay averaged 604,000 viewers.
Last night’s new edition of WWE Tough Enough averaged 1.047 million viewers, which is down 13% from last week’s premiere episode, which had a 1.209 million viewership average.
The numbers are not good for Tough Enough. When the show was hosted by Steve Austin, viewership was typically up by more than 1 million viewers from the past two new episodes of the show. Personally, I feel like it’s too much of a reality show and not enough of a pro wrestling competition show. Why not hire actual pro wrestlers for the show? I’d rather see the contestants working out in the ring than swimming with alligators.
