JORDAN: Plans after your wrestling career is over?
EC3: I have been so focused on this and through the ups and downs, which we all know about, but hopefully tonight, IF I WIN, my life’s work will culminate and I will become a champion. After that my focus is on carrying the “ball” and carrying the company. Making sure this place thrives, other people become stars, we all make money, we all continue to be successful. Outside of that? I wish I wrote stuff down (for a book) about this “weird journey” but I have forgotten so much that I don’t think I could. I think I could some sort of actor, I aint no Daniel Day Lewis, I can tell you that. Maybe I can act and play the role of “jobber bad guy”? That would be cool. When I am done wrestling, maybe I will be behind the scenes, with a cold VegasFuel, watching the monitor, watching the future of the business.
JORDAN: How good has Josh Matthews been in the broadcast position?
EC3: Josh Matthews is HUMAN GARBAGE…PERIOD. Having said that, as a commentator he is excellent. He does the business the right way, he tells stories, he cares about telling the stories well. He busts his ass with so much stuff like digital media, he’s a great commentator and can carry a broadcast by himself and I think POPE is doing a great job too and Josh is great.
JORDAN: Other than throwing around a few guitar riffs and lyric ideas, how has your relationship with Billy Corgan been since he came in?
EC3: Awesome, its been so freakin cool to have that guy. I was a huge Pumpkins fan. He’s ridiculously talented beyond music, his creativity is genius level, he’s a savant’. We will see more and more of his influence on the product.
JORDAN: What can fans expect tonight from EC3 vs. KURT ANGLE 9pm EST TNA IMPACT WRESTLING on DESTINATION AMERICA?!
EC3: CONSUME this PRODUCT like you’re consuming an ice cold, delicious, no crash, no jittery side effect VegasFuel Energy Drink! Having said that, its going to be off the chart, it will be our biggest IMPACT ever, some people were upset that this match didn’t take place at “Slammiversary” but things in this business can’t always be perfect, but this match tonight IS perfect , perfect for me, it’s a perfect statement, a perfect opportunity. It’s the culmination of my life’s work. This is my dream match and it happens tonight. Since a time in my life when I felt I became a lesser man, this is the match I have always wanted and I actually get to have it. That is pretty damn insane, and I am pretty damn fortunate and I deliver and Kurt always does you can count on that. Tonight WE deliver, the show is good even aside from the championship match, we have the best of 5 series for the Tag Team titles, 30 minutes Iron Man match between the WOLVES and the DIRTY HEELS. Austin Aries and Bobby Roode are two of the best in the ring in the world and the Wolves are the best tag team that will be off the charts. It will be a good show, NO it’s going to be a great show, NO it’s going to be a PERFECT show.

Jordan’s Note: Ethan Carter III, in my opinion is the most promising young star in the entire Wrestling business. Many fans were irate over the fact that EC3 vs. Kurt Angle didn’t take place at Slammiversary, these same fans are the ones who complain weekly that 1. TNA doesn’t push their young stars or “TNA ORIGINALS”, 2. TNA needs to make viewers want to tune in to their weekly flagship show and build their presence on their new network & new day, 3. TNA Legends need to work with young stars to build their validity.
