6. Ethan Carter III defeated Matt Hardy in a Full Metal Mayhem match to retain the TNA Championship. Tyrus stayed backstage per the nobody at ringside stipulation. Ron and Don Harris were watching the match from ringside. EC3 retained after pushing Hardy off the ladder and grabbing the title. A pretty intense match. Matt was favoring his knee and had help walking to the back. Not sure if that’s legitimate or just a sell.
