The staff started bringing out everything for the full metal mayhem TNA title match. Matt Hardy was out first, and then introduced Jeff Hardy for a second. This was followed by Ethan Carter III.
6. Ethan Carter III defeated Matt Hardy in a Full Metal Mayhem match to retain the TNA Championship. Tyrus stayed backstage per the nobody at ringside stipulation. Ron and Don Harris were watching the match from ringside. EC3 retained after pushing Hardy off the ladder and grabbing the title. A pretty intense match.
