Titus O’Neil and Darren Young – known collectively as the Prime Time Players – defeated Big E and Xavier Woods of The New Day to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions at tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank PPV.
This marks the first title reign for Titus and Young as a team, as well as their first individual championship wins as well.
Young (31) has been with the company since 2010 as a part of the original NXT reality competition, before debuting on the main roster as a part of Wade Barrett’s Nexus faction. Big Titus (38) debuted later that same year, as a part of NXT season two, eliminated first, then again as a part of NXT Redemption before being called up to the main roster in 2012.
