This is the first of a few announcements that are a domino effect and will lead to the biggest summer in history of the Chair Shot Realty brand. Here’s the official press release on CSRWrestling.com.
Married At First Sight’s Jason Carrion Joins Chair Shot Reality
A&E Reality Star Says “I Do” to Professional Wrestling
Pittsburgh, PA (June 1, 2015) – In season 1 of A&E’s Married at First Sight, FDNY Firefighter Jason Carrion said “I do” to a complete stranger. Carrion once again is saying those two words, this time to one of the loves of his life, professional wrestling.
Beginning with episode 278, set to air June 12 – 14, Carrion will be a regular with the Chair Shot Reality brand (www.CSRwrestling.com) throughout the summer. Chair Shot Reality is a professional wrestling webcast airing each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at CSRWrestling.com, Wrestlezone.com, and PWMania.com.
“I am very excited to begin my journey with Chair Shot Reality,” said Carrion. “CSR just got married to this stranger and didn’t sign a prenup!”
Carrion joins Chair Shot Reality for what is being billed as a “Summer of Reality”, culminating at World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) ‘SummerSlam’, which will take place from Carrion’s hometown of Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, August 23.
“Adding a mainstream reality TV star to your team is obviously always a good thing,” said Chair Shot Reality Executive Producer, Justin LaBar. “We feel it’s a win-win for all parties involved- for us, reaching Jason’s fan base, and Jason having an outlet for his professional wrestling endeavors.”
Carrion joined the show as a guest last month and immediately began discussions to return on a regular basis. In addition to his full time role as a New York City Firefighter, Carrion moonlights as an independent professional wrestler.
“I told myself at a young age that no matter what I do, I was going to have my WrestleMania moment and work with the WWE,” said Carrion. “I haven’t gotten there just yet, but the CSR universe will have the privilege of watching my journey and seeing that anything is possible.”
