The Dollhouse defeated Brooke and Rebel
One of the hardest things to do in wrestling is getting a group of women over in the ring. You can look the part and speak the part, but being inside of the ring is another story. With Taryn taking a back seat tonight, It was about the improvements of Marti and Jade. They have been established on a smaller stage in the past, but they did a good job tonight at adapting to the atmosphere. Brooke is a solid worker and I think she has much more to offer, but she is falling back a bit due to other Knockouts getting an opportunity.
The Beautiful People were so good because they were believable. The Dollhouse need to continue to improve their overall gimmick and that will come in time. They need to find their niche. The match was simply average and nothing more.
When they came back out, Taryn gets personal with Gail, talking about her stepdaughters and her husband. Kim attacks this gets really interesting. Taryn Terrell is STELLAR. The way she talks to Kim, the way she acts and looks makes her the most believable woman in wrestling. She is pure, absolutely entertaining and I cannot say enough about how good she has been over the past few months.
Ken Anderson defeated Tyrus
Anderson wants another match with Ethan Carter. Carter denies it and he ends up calling Tyrus a b*tch over and over again until a referee comes out. Tyrus punches him in the corner, then they continue to fight before Ethan attempts to get involved with a chair. Anderson plays possum as Ethan gets thrown out, leading to Anderson hitting a Mic Check for the win.
TNA continues to utilize Anderson as a former champion that Carter overcomes to get to the next level. He has beaten some of the best and is ready for the main event. I would give it a week or two and then really push him to the sky. EC3 is just a unique talent in TNA right now. He looks, talks and acts like a superstar. Sometimes, that is the hardest things to combine.
