WWE Live event results State College May 15, 2015
1. New Day defeated Tyson Kidd & Cesaro: It was Big E & Xavier wrestling for the belts. Match ended when Kofi interfered and hit trouble in paradise on Kidd. Woods got the pinfall. They spent a little time talking about Penn State being the most uneducated college.
2. Fandango defeated Adam Rose w/ Rosa: Crowd was split. Rosa threw a fit afterwards and tried attacking Fandango but Rose held her back.
3. Zack Ryder & The Prime Time Players defeated Bo Dallas & The Ascension: Ryder got the pinfall. Bo Dallas cut a promo before the match about being the most inspirational superstar tagging with the most dominant team in the WWE.
4. Damien Sandow defeated Heath Slater: Slater cut a promo about a conspiracy in the WWE because he keeps being denied a championship match. Sandow came out and said he should do something about it instead of complaining. He then ranted about him and Axel portraying their heroes this Sunday at Payback.
5. Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Harper: Harper had major heat with tons of “you stink” and “take a shower” chants. Ambrose was extremely over in the match and was dominated a majority of the match until the end when he hit dirty needs from nowhere.
6. The Bellas defeated Naomi & Tamina: Brie was “injured” halfway through because of her shoulder and taken to the back. Nikki was then beat up until the end when she got a school-boy pin on Naomi for the win. Tamini & Naomi continued to destroy Nikki until Paige returned and made the save for Nikki. Crowd was huge behind Paige.
7. John Cena defeated Rusev in a steel cage match: Very nice back and forth match. Crowd voted 67% yes to have Lana at ringside. Almost everybody in the building was going for Cena, who won by climbing the cage and kicking the door shut on Rusev. After the match, Rusev was in Lana’s face yelling, and Cena came back down to save Lana, and hit an AA on Rusev again to send the crowd home happy.
NOTES: Very small crowd. The entire end stage was empty, with both sides of the ring being relatively full. Attendance was somewhere around 2,000.
