The Latest on Daniel Bryan’s WWE In-Ring Return, Rumored Timeframe, Brie Bella Responds to Naomi’s Raw Attack

As seen on Raw last night, the WWE announce team acknowledged Daniel Bryan being pulled from the Extreme Rules card and noted he has yet to receive medical clearance to return to the ring.

Later on in the night, Renee Young interviewed Brie Bella backstage, and Brie said it has been a heart wrenching time for her and her husband, as Bryan had his Cinderella story, which began at WrestleMania 30, cut short due to injuries. Brie added Bryan wants to be there on Raw, but his health comes first.

Brie’s speech was then interrupted by Naomi, who attacked Brie and said nobody cares about her or her husband.

Brie responded to Naomi’s attack by posting the following on Twitter:

If Daniel Bryan’s situation is very serious, my guess is WWE wouldn’t be incorporating it into Raw story lines right now. WWE making light of all this on TV and using it to further the Naomi heel turn indicates to me that Bryan will be returning sooner rather than later. At this point, it’s being rumored that WWE officials expect Bryan to be back in the ring within a month or two. As noted, it’s very likely Bryan will not be competing at WWE Payback in May.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
