WWE Smackdown Results (4/16) – Sheamus vs Neville, Big Show Challenges Reigns, All Champions Match!

Sheamus vs Neville

Sheamus taunts Neville and gets caught with some kicks and a whip to the floor, then Neville hits a somersault dive over the ropes. Neville rolls him in and heads up top, but Sheamus rolls away to avoid Red Arrow and hits a fireman’s carry slam on the floor. We get back from a break to see Sheamus applying a headlock, then he clubs Neville a few times and mocks the crowd. Neville kicks him into the corner, then he kicks him in the head and hits a standing moonsault for two.

Neville kicks Sheamus in the back of the head, then he hits a corkscrew moonsault from the middle rope for two. Neville heads up top for Red Arrow but Sheamus crotches him on the ropes, then he sets up White Noise but Neville counters with a rollup for two. Neville connects with some kicks and clotheslines to send Sheamus to the floor, but Sheamus picks him up and slams Neville on the commentary table and gets disqualified.

Winner (by disqualification) – Neville

Sheamus gets pissed and attacks Neville after the bell, slamming him back in the ring before Dolph Ziggler chases Sheamus away. Dolph says it’s just like Sheamus to run away, and he knows no one likes him because he is a bully. Dolph says the only thing to do to a bully is to stand up and fight, but Sheamus says Dolph can kiss his arse. Sheamus says literally, Dolph can kiss his arse, because that’s the type of match they’ll have at Extreme Rules. Dolph says he doesn’t care because he just wants Sheamus in the ring, and he’ll make Sheamus kiss his own ass in the middle of the ring.

BP: Good match and good showing from Neville, and I’d like to see these two match up again. Still not sure what’s so ‘extreme’ about arse kissing, but hey, I didn’t write it.
