WWE Likely To Sign a Masked Wrestler Soon

rob gronkowski Mexican masked wrestler Laredo Kid received a WWE tryout on April 7th at the TV taping in Dallas, TX. Kid teamed with another talent getting a tryout and worked a match against Los Matadores. Kid claims WWE has offered him a deal, and pending medical testing, he could be in NXT by June.

Rob Gronkowski Says He Would Be “Open to All of It” When Asked About WWE

Fox Sports recently spoke with NFL player Rob Gronkowski, who NXT star Mojo Rawley teased could be teaming with him in a WWE ring. Gronk had the following to say when asked about Rawley’s tease:

“My boy Mojo Rawley is in the WWE’s NXT and he just got back from an injury, so he’s about to start amping it up again and he’s doing a great job. He’s my boy and he’s killing it. I love watching him. We were just chilling and we cut a promo together and we had a blast. I can definitely see something in the future. Hopefully Mojo Rawley starts wrestling a lot and starts doing what he has to do and makes it to “Monday Night Raw”, if my boy is there, I’m there for an appearance.”

Gronkowski added he would be open to managing, wrestling, or “all of it” depending on what WWE has to offer.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
