WWE NXT Results (4/15): Sami Zayn Returns to Action, Dana Brooke Makes Her Debut, Solomon Crowe vs. CJ Parker & More

BLUE PANTS vs. DANA BROOKE

Brooke is playing up the classic “Diva” heel character. She actually calls herself the “Total Diva” so she’ll probably fit right in on the main roster when they inevitably fast-track her. Brooke controls early with your usual Thesz press, head-banging, hair-pulling type of thing. Small “you can’t wrestle” chant and the newcomer is getting bood (which is a good thing). Blue Pants comes back briefly, but Brooke puts her away with a fireman’s carry front slam. She does some sexy dancing after the match and a few people boo her.

Winner: Dana Brooke

Alex Riley does a backstage promo, asking Kevin Owens if he thought he was just going to go away after losing one match. He say he’ll be back next week, in the ring waiting for part two.

SAMI ZAYN vs. RHINO

The crowd is hyped to see the return of Sami Zayn. He starts strong but is quickly taken down and bullied by the much bigger Rhino, who dominates as they play up the whole “is he the same after what Kevin Owens did to him” story. When they come back from a break Zayn fires off with a few elbows and a top rope crossbody for two. He continues throwing rights and lefts to no effect, running into a massive spinebuster. Rhino controls for several minutes with rest holds and big power moves, including a gorgeous fireman’s carry cutter. Zayn hits a Blue Thunder Bomb out of nowhere for two. They end up brawling to the floor and Zayn flies over the top rope to take him out. Back into the ring and he takes a belly-to-belly suplex that sends him across the ring. Rhino misses a spear and takes a Helluva Kick for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Sami Zayn
