Bad News Barrett Talks His Rematch with Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules, Talks Bryan Being a “Paper” Champion & More (Video)

-Barrett is asked about invoking his title rematch clause at WWE Extreme Rules, and facing Daniel Bryan at the PPV. Barrett says as far as he’s concerned, Bryan is a “paper champion” since he has the IC Title but never actually defeated Barrett to get it. Barrett says Bryan “stole” the IC Title during the Ladder Match at WrestleMania, and he will remain a paper champion until he can defeat Barrett in a singles match.

-Barrett adds that he doesn’t understand why Daniel Bryan gets the treatment he does in WWE. Barrett says the Legends segment with Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania made no sense, as Barrett is a 5 time IC Champion which makes him 5 times better than Daniel Bryan.

-Saxton says Barrett’s previous title wins have not been as memorable as Daniel Bryan’s big WrestleMania moment, but Barrett responds by saying it’s not about being memorable, it’s about proving you’re a real champion. Barrett says all of his previous title wins have proven he is #1, and Bryan just got lucky at WrestleMania in front of 70,000 people. Barrett says he’s going to give Daniel Bryan something “very memorable” at Extreme Rules.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
