During today’s major USA Network press conference, one piece of news that may have been overshadowed is that Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia (the Rock’s ex-wife and business partner) have signed on to develop and executive produce a new unscripted series for the network. The project remains vague at the moment, as those are all the details that were given.
Lip Sync Battle Posts Big Numbers
Speaking of The Rock, he and Jimmy Fallon scored huge numbers for Spike TV on last week’s episode of Lip Sync Battle. The show did just over 2,000,000 viewers in the 10:30PM slot and and rose to 2,197,000 in the 11:00PM slot. Lip Sync Battle was the top original program on cable last Thursday night in the adults 18-49 demographic.
Eva Marie Training w/ Kendrick
Total Divas star Eva Marie noted on Twitter this afternoon that she was back in the ring, training with former WWE Superstar Brian Kendrick.
