New Japan Pro Wrestling has released the full line-up for their 5/3 Wrestling Dontaku show from Fukoaka, Japan which will be their next major live event on New Japan World.
Following Dontaku is the cross-promotional events between New Japan and Ring of Honor in May. Then the best of the Super Juniors tournament will take us into June, followed by Dominion in July and then the G1 Climax kicks off in August.
Nakamura vs. Goto will headline the show for the Intercontinental title. AJ Styles vs. Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight title was pushed back to Dominion 7.5 with the two announced for tag team action instead to start promoting the match. The idea seems to be that since the Heavyweight and I.C. titles are both near the same level of buzz right now, it’s better to split up the bigger matches to not over-saturate their shows every month, unless it’s something like a Tokyo Dome show.
