CJ Parker Update
We previously reported Joe Robinson, aka NXT’s CJ Parker, asked for his WWE release because he reportedly was unhappy with his role in developmental.
It’s being said he wanted to try and work internationally to work on his skills, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting Robinson is looking to go to New Japan Pro Wrestling. Robinson is hoping to make a name for himself and was told by WWE officials he would be welcomed back in the future.
As reported, Robinson was frustrated with his role in NXT, and felt he wasn’t going to be called up to the main roster after being with WWE for four years, which led him to ask for his release.
Sheamus Debuts New Entrance Theme
Sheamus returned to action this week on WWE Smackdown, taking on Daniel Bryan in a non-title match.
The show, set to air later tonight on SyFy, has already aired in international markets; Smackdown airs on Wednesday nights in Canada. Sheamus debuted a new entrance and graphics, along with a new theme song, which can be viewed below:
