Even More Legends Appear at WrestleMania: Bret Hart, Ricky Steamboat & More Celebrate w/ New Intercontinental Champ

WWE ran a backstage segment with brand new Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania tonight. 

The first ever I.C. champion Pat Patterson first appeared, praising Bryan for the ladder match and his big win. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and even Bret Hart showed up, and the legends did a big “YES” chant with the new champion. Ron Simmons capped it all off with his signature “DAMN!” catchphrase.

At one point Steamboat said the ladder match may have been better than his WrestleMania III match with Randy Savage, which was meant with a pretty mixed reaction from the crowd. While the match was good, this was just a ridiculous statement and everyone knew it. The whole thing was overly scripted and came off incredibly cheesy.
