Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler
(Dean Ambrose as Special Guest Referee)
Bryan and Dolph try to outshine each other, then they slug it out and Bryan knocks Dolph outside. Bryan tackles him on the floor, then we get back to see Bryan setting up on the top turnbuckles. Dolph hits a superfacebuster, then Bryan fights back but Dolph surprises him with a kick and a facebuster for the win.
Winner – Dolph Ziggler
Ambrose attacks Dolph after the bell and gets a ladder, then the rest of the ladder match participants spill into the ring and brawl.
Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar enter the ring and Heyman talks about not needing to convince anyone to turn into Wrestlemania, because there will be a fight. He says Lesnar will mangle Roman Reigns on Sunday night, then he says he wants to talk about what his client can and will do. Heyman talks about ending the streak and taking John Cena out, then he brings up the comments about Brock being a “mercenary” about the money. He says Brock loves money and hurting people, then he says Reigns won’t win because Brock says he can’t and he won’t.
Reigns heads to the ring and Brock shoves the title is his face and laughs, but Reigns takes it from him and Brock gets pissed. Reigns holds it above his head and stares Brock down, then they fight for possession as RAW goes off the air.
BP: That ending was different, and a bit odd. Nothing really new here, and it didn’t really give either person an advantage. Overall this show was pretty subpar, worse considering it’s the Wrestlemania go-home show. They basically did the same stuff tonight as they did the past two weeks. The only thing really of note was Sting’s promo.
