Hulk Hogan Q&A Highlights: Talks Kevin Owens, His Favorite Era, Injuries & More, Judd Apatow Offers Strong Praise for John Cena

Hulk Hogan took part in a Q&A at this weekend’s SXSW festival, as did director Judd Apatow, whose new movie “Trainwreck” features WWE star John Cena. When asked about Cena, Apatow offered the following comment:

“John Cena is ridiculously funny. So funny that it kind of makes me angry because that is my department — and I am not a strong wrestler.”

Hulk Hogan’s Favorite era:

“There was nothing like the 80s. That red and yellow. #Hulkamania running wild was unbelievable.”

Hulk Hogan’s Favorite WWE Moment:

“Has to be when I came back home. It was when I was in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The audience was electric it felt like 100 jet planes. So loud HH”

The Hardest Thing About Wrestling:

“The hardest thing is taking everything in your life and making that second. Work has to be first.”

Thoughts on NXT:

“In a huge fan of NXT. Kevin Owens is the guy right now who made me believe again. When Kevin came in and stepped up, it made me say WOW. HH”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
