Stardust has been officially added to the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania 31.
There was some speculation that WWE still had plans to run a singles program between Stardust and Goldust at this year’s big event, but that appears not to be the case. One source close to the situation informed us that the likely scenario would see Goldust return either the night of WrestleMania, or the following night on Monday Night Raw.
There are still plans to have the match between the two brothers, which will likely result in 45-year-old Dustin Runnels retiring from full-time wrestling, with the logical destination being next month’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
