WWE Smackdown Results (3/5) – AJ vs Brie, Swagger vs Rusev, IC Title Trickery!

vs Luke Harper & Bad News Barrett

Ambrose hits Wade a few times and chops him, then he connects with a bulldog and heads up top to hit an elbow drop. Harper breaks up the pin and Dolph kicks him outside as we go to a break, then we get back to see Harper suplex Ambrose and put him in a headlock. Ambrose comes back with a slam before Dolph gets the tag and hits a Famouser, then Harper comes back with a spinning side slam. Wade jumps in and Ambrose clotheslines him, then Harper calls for a spinning lariat but Dolph superkicks him and hits a Zig Zag for the win. 

Winners – Dean Ambrose & Dolph Ziggler 

Wade runs in and hits both opponents with a Bullhammer, then he corners R-Truth at commentary and demands his title be returned to him. Truth knocks him out of the way and runs for it but Harper cuts him off, so Truth puts the title on the ground. Harper goes to pick it up and Truth drops him with an uppercut, then tries to escape again. Daniel Bryan walks to the ramp so Truth decides to give the title to him, and starts a YES chant as Bryan stares at the title. Bryan does his own YES chant, but Stardust attacks him from behind and takes the title, then climbs the ladder on the stage and celebrates with it. 

BP: The match itself wasn’t much to write home about, but the title is getting more focus which is good. Stardust’s attack was out of nowhere, maybe just to add some suspense building to the match. I hope Goldust versus Stardust happens, and they are left out of this one; it could end up too crowded soon. Overall fun show with good amount of comedy and in-ring work.
