Rumor Killer on 2015 WWE Hall of Fame Name
It had been reported elsewhere that Ray “The Crippler” Stevens would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, but according to PWInsider.com Stevens will not be inducted.
Sting Video Airing on Raw Next Week
During today’s sit down interview with WWE legends, Michael Cole noted a new Sting video will air on Raw next Monday night. The video will feature WWE stars commenting on Sting’s career, as well as thoughts from stars who have a history with Sting.
TNA Announces New TV Deal
TNA and Sony Six have announced a long-term deal which will make Sony SIX the exclusive home for all TNA content through 2022.
According to a press release, the partnership will also includes a commitment to find new talent from the Indian subcontinent to join the TNA roster. TNA President Dixie Carter had the following to say about the new deal:
“India has an incredible cultural heritage with wrestling and we are thrilled to continue this amazing partnership with Sony SIX for years to come. As is evident through this long-term deal with Sony SIX, the powerful introduction of Mahabali Shera, and our continued pledge to find and develop Indian talent, together we are committed to growing legions of TNA fans across the Indian subcontinent.”
