For some time now there have been rumors that WWE veteran Goldust is looking to wind down his full-time in-ring career, and has been pushing for years to wrestle his brother Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE is looking into possibly using Goldust as a backstage producer going forward. Splitting up him and Cody – currently performing as Stardust – has been the plan, and it’s likely their program will continue through WrestleMania, where they will begin to write the 17-time WWE title holder off television.
