Tag Team Turmoil
Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns vs The Miz & Damien Sandow,
The Usos, Los Matadores, Slater Gator & The Ascension
Reigns and Bryan get into with each other after taking some shots at Miz, then Sandow tags in and Bryan knees him in the face. Sandow comes back with a Miz Breaker combo, then Miz tags himself in but Bryan dropkicks him. Reigns tags himself in and hits a Superman punch, but Bryan tags back in and hits Knee Plus for the first fall. Reigns and Bryan talk some trash as The Usos make their way out, then we get back after a break to see Reigns hit Jey before he glances back at Bryan. Reigns ties up with Jey and backs him into the ropes, but Jimmy blind tags in and hits him coming off the ropes. Reigns gets sent to the floor, then Bryan tags in and unloads on Jimmy with some kicks and chops. Bryan connects with more strikes before he and Reigns try to show each other up, then Reigns kicks Jey in the face and applies a headlock. Bryan gets back in and knocks Jey outside, then Jimmy checks on him but Bryan kicks him through the ropes. Bryan goes after Jey but Reigns cuts him off, and they argue with Reigns telling Bryan to win it in the ring.
We get back from a break to see Reigns and Jimmy argue over Reigns breaking up a pin, then Jimmy kicks him in the face before Bryan kicks Jimmy. Reigns hits a basement dropkick, then Bryan hits a suicide dive on Jey before Jimmy goes for a diving splash. Reigns catches him with a Superman man punch, then Jey strikes back and tries to splash Bryan, but Bryan rolls through into a YES Lock and makes him tap out. Bryan doesn’t immediately let go and Reigns breaks it up, so they argue about that as we go to a break. We get back to see Los Matadores enter the match, then Bryan goes for a YES Lock but can’t apply it, so he hits a diving headbutt before making Diego tap. Slater Gator enters and Reigns clotheslines Slater, then he hits a Superman punch and a spear for the next fall. The Ascension makes their way out and Konnor knocks Bryan outside, then Viktor joins in on the beatdown before Reigns runs over to help. They attack Reigns and whip him over the broadcast table, then they focus on Bryan and whip him into the ringpost.
They take Bryan back into the ring and continue to attack him until they are disqualified, but they bring Reigns back in the ring and try to take him out too. A group of refs break them up as Big Show and Kane make their way out, then we get back from a break to see Kane stomping Reigns in the corner. Bryan tags in and Kane kicks him a few times in the corner, then Show tags in and assists with a double elbow. Show talks trash to Reigns as he reaches for a tag, then Bryan comes back with a DDT before he starts crawling for a tag. Show splashes him and stops him, then Show gloats and tells Kane he owns this before he chokes Bryan and drops him. Show keeps talking trash so Kane tags in and Bryan almost gets him in the YES Lock, but Show breaks it up and starts arguing with Kane about screwing up. Show calls for a chokeslam, but Bryan almost catches him offguard again, and Kane argues with Show again. Show gets pissed and knocks Kane out, then Reigns spears Show behind the refs back and Bryan hits Knee Plus for the win.
Winners – Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns
BP: I get what they were trying to do, but this was so boring to watch. This could have been a traditional tag match, or a quicker turmoil match to be better. Commercials ruined it for starters, and I lost interest less than halfway through. I can appreciate them stacking the deck against Bryan and Reigns, but they wasted almost 75 minutes (including commercials) of tonight’s show on this match. The best part of the night was the Divas match. I would have liked to have seen one more match that continued a feud, and the turmoil match shortened by 10-15 minutes.
