Bad News Zone Note
For those that missed last night’s episode of WWE Smackdown, Bad News Barrett debuted a new segment called “BnZ”, or the “Bad News Zone.”
Barrett’s gimmick was a parody of celebrity news outlet TMZ, which got its name from the phrase “Thirty Mile Zone”. This “zone” basically represents the epicenter of Hollywood. The term was coined a few decades ago for Los Angeles’ “studio zone”, the place where everything interesting happened.
