Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, who has been confirmed as a ‘verified’ WWE insider when it comes to posting results, has made another statement regarding the Road To Wrestlemania.
He said Roman Reigns will indeed win his match at WWE Fast Lane against Daniel Bryan, going on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the World Heavyweight Championship. The report states the only reason the Bryan/Reigns matchup was made for Fast Lane is so WWE officials could try and please the “marks” while they still get Reigns over. It’s said they will proceed with this plan regardless of fan reaction, because Reigns versus Lesnar is the Wrestlemania 31 main event.
MetsFan4Ever also said WWE knows people are going to watch Wrestlemania no matter what, and said he was told they could book Doink The Clown against Brock Lesnar and fans would watch it, because Wrestlemania is considered to be bigger in name than anyone on the show.
The final point made was that eventhough Reigns is going over at Fast Lane, Bryan was picked to work with Reigns specifically to get him ready for Wrestlemania. Despite his size, Bryan is considered one of the more physical wrestlers on the roster, and he can prepare Reigns for such a demanding match with Lesnar.
