The X-Division Championship changed hands yet again, as Low Ki defeated Austin Aries to regain the belt on this week’s Impact Wrestling.
Several TNA stars have been signed to new contracts, including Jeff Hardy, long-time Knockout Gail Kim, Kenny King and TJ Perkins (aka Manik). Awesome Kong, who made her shocking return two weeks ago, has also signed a new deal.
TNA attempted to sign Edge for their return to TV.
FANTASTICA MANIA!
New Japan Pro Wrestling teamed up with the Mexican CMLL promotion for six events over the last week. Here are the results thus far:
- 1/13 Fantasticamania – Osaka
- 1/14 Fantasticamania – Takamatsu
- 1/15 Fantasticamania – Kyoto
- 1/17 Fantasticamania – Shin-Kiba
- 1/18 Fantasticamania – Korakeun Hall
AXS TV has 13 weeks of New Japan taped that debuted this week, and will run through WrestleMania season.
