The Rock Hypes Smackdown
WWE Superstar and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently posted the following comments to his Instagram account, hyping Smackdown’s new Thursday night move.
The Rock’s “Layin’ The Smackdown” catchphrase was the inspiration behind WWE’s show “Smackdown”, which debuted on August 26, 1999.
“It’s official… #Smackdown has moved to THURSDAY NIGHTS. It’s also official that since the show was created in my honor I’ll be happy to “Lay the Smackdown” on anyone’s candy ass on any day that ends with “Y”.
