The first match saw Darren Young defeat Justin Gabriel by pinfall. It was Young’s first bout back after his knee surgery. The crowd couldn’t have cared less……..until Seth Rollins came out and destroyed both Young and Gabriel. The crowd loved Rollins for it. He cut a promo tearing down Ryback for later.
Fandango, with Rosa Mendes, beat Adam Rose who had the Rosebuds and the Bunny with him. They started with the “boo…yay” spots solidifying Adam Rose as the face for the match. Not much happened. Fandango got the pin in the end.
Erick Rowan beat Curtis Axel by pin in a pretty pedestrian match. Not much to talk about except crowd solidly behind Rowan.
The Usos defeated Goldust and Stardust when one of the Usos…let’s say Jimmy…pinned Stardust. The Dust Brothers got MAJOR heat before the match calling Winnipeg a bunch of losers like our Jets NHL team which led to a HUGE chant of GO JETS GO!!!!
After intermission, Natalya beat Paige after reversing a Sharpshooter into her own to get the tap out win.
Ryback beat Seth Rollins by DQ when Seth hit Ryback with the MITB case. A pretty good match bit crowd HATED the finish.
The Main Event was next Dean Ambrose beat Bray Wyatt in a Street Fight after an elbow drop off the top rope through a table. Both Ambrose and Wyatt were waaaaay over and was easily the match of the night.
There was no return date announced and no Chris Jericho even though he would’ve been a great Christmas present to his hometown Winnipeg fans.
