Dolph Ziggler vs Luke Harper (c)
Harper slams Dolph in the corner and hits him a few times, then Dolph knocks him down and hits an elbow drop for two. Harper clotheslines him, then he hits Dolph with a big boot that sends him out to the floor. We get back from a break to see Dolph connect with a dropkick and a DDT, then he attempts a Famouser but Harper blocks and kicks him in the face. Harper charges him but Dolph comes back with a Famouser for two, then Harper kicks him in the crotch and the ref calls for the bell. Harper tries bringing a ladder in the ring, but Dolph hits him in the face and sends the ladder back outside.
Winner (by disqualification) – Dolph Ziggler
Santino Marella comes to the stage and says the show is off to a great start, but he’s here to announce they’ll square off again one more time! Santino announces Harper will once again defend his championship, but this time it will be in a ladder match at WWE TLC!
Seth Rollins comes out and says it’s almost time for WWE TLC, and he’s excited because John Cena will lose his number one contender title when he beats him. He says the best part is he doesn’t need to pin or submit Cena, eventhough he could, and he’s going to take away everything Cena worked for because he can. Rollins says he’s taking Cena’s spirit, and he’s going to put Cena through so many tables he’s going to be covered in splinters. Big Show takes the mic and talks about how many matches he’s been in, but this is the first steel stairs match he’s been in, and he can swing the steps because he’s a giant, then says he will demonstrate. Show tosses the stairs around and slams them into the ringpost, then he says Erick Rowan is going to be eating the steel steps after he’s done with him. Kane says that brings him to Ryback, and he’s going to ‘feed’ Ryback chair after chair, then Santino comes out and books Rollins and Big Show versus Ryback and Erick Rowan.
