Following a livestream reveal at the 007 stage in England’s Pinewood Studios, Skyfall director Sam Mendes confirmed the new title for the 24th James Bond film, Spectre.
Mendes also confirmed a number of castings, including the oft-rumored role of “Mister Hinx” being played by WWE Superstar and Guardians of the Galaxy star Batista. Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux were announced as the “Bond girls” of the film, and Christoph Waltz will star in a role called “Oberhauser”, not the rumored return of classic Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
The official synopsis is as follows:
“A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre.”
Spectre is due in theaters on November 6th, 2015.
