1. Intercontinental Championship
Dolph Ziggler def Cesaro via pinfall with the zigzag after a fantastic opening match, the crowd were right behind Ziggler.
Before the next match the Mr McMahon network promo played, I couldn’t hear it over the boos!
2. 6 Diva Tag Team Match (won a fan cheer vote over a singles match)
Emma, Natalya and Naomi def Cameron, Summer Rae and Alicia Fox
Natalya submitted Summer with the sharpshooter. Much stronger than I expected, this was full of comedy spots when Emma was in the ring.
3. NXT Championship Triple Threat Match
Adrian Neville (Hometown Hero) def Sami Zayn & Tyson Kidd via pinfall with the Red Arrow over Kidd.
So much good wrestling here and Tyson played the perfect heel, coming to the ring in a Sunderland football shirt, while Neville wore the Newcastle shirt. Tyson will be a top heel if they allow him.
4. First Half Main Event
Dean Ambrose def Kane via pinfall with a DDT.
Great brawling here and the crowd were firmly behind Ambrose, huge pop for everything he did.
Interval
5. Sin Cara def Fandango via pinfall with the senton bomb.
6. Tag Team Championship Match
Gold & Stardust def The Usos via pinfall. Stardust got the pin, lots of heel tactics from the Dusts, the kids loved the Usos far more than I expected. Fun match.
7. Main Event Newcastle Street Fight
Chris Jericho def Bray Wyatt via pinfall with the Code Breaker.
A decent main event but by this point the crowd were getting tired, Standard pg fare, Kane and then Ambrose interfered, Bray went through a table (huge pop) and after the match Jericho and Ambrose celebrate to send fans home happy.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
