The following were some of the NXT taping notes coming out of last night’s television tapings at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida:
– WWE Superstar and Money In The Bank winner Seth Rollins returned to NXT last night in a dark segment, and he worked it as a babyface.
Rollins, who was previously a crowd favorite in NXT, cut a promo for Hell In A Cell and teased the fans for trying to get themselves over. The fans chanted “you bought in” back at him, then he attacked the Vaudevillians after they interrupted him. He hit Simon Gotch with his briefcase and Curb Stomped Aiden English, and celebrated to end the segment.
– It was noted that “Ole’ Blue Pants” worked another match at last night’s tapings, against Carmella. This wrestler is in fact women’s indy star Leva Bates; she wrestled a match that will air on the November 24th episode of NXT, and previously wrestled Carmella on the October 16th episode.
– Another women’s independent wrestling star, Mia Yim, also worked last night’s tapings, facing off with NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte in a non-title match, set to air on the December 4th episode.
– Finally, former NXT Diva Karlee Perez, fka Maxine, was in the crowd for the taping and tweeted about being on hand for the tapings.
