WWE RAW Results (10/20) – Rusev Crosses The Line, Title Implications For HIAC, Cena/Ambrose vs Authority!

Rollins says Ambrose could have a career in comedy, then he says he grew up in the Midwest, but he left so he wouldn’t become trailer park trash like them. He says he is rich and famous and the best part of RAW every week, then he says sure he sold out, but so what, he sold the Shield and Ambrose out. Ambrose says he’s saving the best for Sunday, but they have the main event tonight and he will give Rollins a preview if he doesn’t shut up. Rollins says he doesn’t sweat Ambrose or Hell In A Cell, then Mick Foley cuts them off and says he wanted to come visit an old friend, the cell.

Foley talks about how he saw the Shield dominate for a few years, and he dreamed of the day they would clash, and now it’s here. He says no offense to Ambrose, but he almost always envisioned Rollins coming out on top, then Rollins praises him and says he knew Foley was smart. Foley says he told Rollins “almost always”, and he says the cell changes things, and Ambrose now has a weapon to inflict a lot of pain. Foley says he still remembers and feels the pain and the scars that never heal, and he might still wear Santa Claus themed attire, but it’s because it’s the last thing he has that keeps him a bit innocent.

Ambrose says no offense, but he lost his innocence a long time ago, and Foley of all people should get him, and Rollins will be in a hospital bed on Monday morning. He tells Rollins to ask himself if it was all worth it, then Rollins says they are both crazy and it’s going to take more to win than Ambrose just thinking he’s crazy. Rollins says he is going to win by being smarter, because he is above them both, but Foley says you can be as smart as you want, but it doesn’t matter when you get thrown off of a cell. Foley says Kansas City gets the game they’ve waited for 29 years for tomorrow night, but Rollins and Ambrose will get the match of their lifetime on Sunday, and they can both have a nice day.

BP: Another awesome segment. I’ll be honest, the beginning was a bit flat, but it took off quickly and the whole thing was worth watching. Ambrose and Rollins deserve the top spot, not only because of this months-long build, but Foley just put it over the top. This match needs to be an all out, over the top fight that doesn’t stay in the cell. I popped for Foley’s surprise appearance, and this fired up crowd helped all three sell the match even more. What’s even better is we still get more in the main event tonight.
