10/16 WWE NXT Results: Sami Zayn vs. Tyson Kidd, Carmella Makes Her Debut, Lucha Dragons in Action & More

-NXT Champion Adrian Neville says he’s sick of all the main roster talent from RAW and Smackdown coming to his show and pretending like they run the place. He tells Titus O’Neil to come back to NXT next week, and he’ll show him why he’s the champion.

(6) Sami Zayn vs. Tyson Kidd

Very technical start with tons of chain grappling. Sami Zayn wins the first trade and ends up throwing Kidd’s jacket back in his face. Zayn runs through him with a few shoulder tackles and again out-wrestles him. They lock up a third time and once again, Sami wins the trade with tons of arm drags. Kidd rolls to the floor, Sami looks to suicide dive, but springboards back into the ring when Tyson moves out of the way. He’s totally in control of this match five minutes in. During a commercial break, Kidd ended up punting his opponent with a huge kick, and has taken control. He slows down the pace with a headlock for a few minutes. Kidd gets a back elbow and comes off the top rope with a crossbody for two. He hits the Blue Thunder Bomb, but still can’t pick up the win. Tyson with another elbow shot and a nasty spinning neckbreaker. The Sharpshooter is locked in, but eventually Sami is able to get to the ropes. Tyson tries for a springboard leg drop, but comes up empty. Sami reverses a corner splash into an exploder suplex into the bottom turnbuckle, and follows up with the Helluva Kick for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Sami Zayn
