TNA’s annual Bound for Glory PPV is finishing up live in Japan this morning, and we expect to have complete SPOILER results soon. We can confirm, however, that the traditional 4-sided wrestling ring is being used for the show. In the photo below (thanks to Reddit user “denemy”), you can see the 4-sided ring and the stage set-up that will be in use. One interesting note is the lack of Wrestle-1 advertising, despite their talent being used in at least six matches on the PPV.
While the lack of TNA’s signature 6-sided ring – which was brought back earlier this year after a fan vote – will likely be disappointing to some, the decision was most likely made for the benefit of the overall show. Wrestle-1 talent like Sakamoto, Kaz Hayashi and Minoru Tanaka will have little-to-no experience wrestling in a 6-sided ring.
