WWE RAW Results (10/6) – The Rock Electrifies Brooklyn, Ambrose Saves Cena!

The Miz (w/ Damien Sandow) vs Sheamus

Miz knees Sheamus a few times before Sheamus scoop slams him, then Sheamus heads up top but Miz rolls outside. Sheamus grabs him and goes for Ten Beats, but Miz snaps his head on the ropes and heads up top. Sheamus catches him with a hard punch on the way down, then he blocks a Skull Crushing Finale and teases a Brogue Kick as we go to a break. We get back to see Sandow cheap shot Sheamus, then Miz hits him and taunts the crowd. Sheamus makes a comeback and goes for a Brogue Kick, but Sandow gets hit instead, and Miz steals it with a rollup from behind.

Winner – The Miz

3-On-1 Handicap Match
John Cena vs The Authority

Rollins starts the match but immediately tags out, then Kane gets in but Cena catches Rollins with a punch on the way out. Kane and Orton stomp Cena and wear him down in the corner, then Orton powerslams him before Rollins gets in. He taunts Cena and elbows him, then follows with a diving neckbreaker off the ropes for two. Rollins hits him but Cena comes back with a sitout slam and a Five Knuckle Shuffle, then he goes for an Attitude Adjustment but Kane and Orton run in and cause a disqualification.

Winner (by disqualification) – John Cena

Kane chokeslams Cena and Orton calls for a RKO, but Dean Ambrose returns from Coney Island, wheeling a hot dog cart down to the ring. Ambrose waits for Kane and Orton to come after him, then he reveals a condiments holster and sprays Kane and Orton with ketchup and mustard. Ambrose rams them with the cart and rushes the ring and attacks Rollins, then Cena hits him with an Attitude Adjustment before Ambrose hits a suicide dive. He whips all of the cart’s contents at Rollins and leads him into the ring, but Kane makes the save so Cena takes him out with an AA.

The Authority comes out and says Cena and Ambrose are on the same page, but they still want to fight Seth Rollins, so they’ll get a shot. He says they will face each other for a shot at Rollins at Hell In A Cell, and the winner will face Rollins later that night. Stephanie says either way, one of them is going to hell, then Ambrose grabs Cena and surprises him with a double underhook DDT to end the show.

BP: There was a lot of crap on tonight’s show, but The Rock’s surprise appearance and the Ambrose segments were really awesome. I’m going out on a limb and saying the Ambrose stuff at the end will live on like the Stone Cold beer bath and Kurt Angle milk truck. Dean Ambrose is the kick in the ass WWE needs. The Hell In A Cell announcement makes sense, as I’ve been calling for Ambrose/Rollins in the cell for a few months now. They made a lot out of Rollins always escaping, so this seems like the natural set up. Of course, it will all depend on what they do with Cena versus Ambrose first.
