The Rock In Baywatch
As we previously reported, The Rock is now confirmed for a role in the new Baywatch movie, based on the 90’s television show.
ComingSoon.net added more on the project noting that it was originally going to be a comedy-heavy film with little to do with the original show. Stars Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff had roles written in for the movie, but it’s unclear what direction the movie will go in, now with Justin Malen being brought in for a rewrite of the script.
The Rock seemed to hint at more of an action oriented movie, saying on his Instagram account that Baywatch will be “Edgy, raunchy and hopefully, funny as all hell. Cue slo mo running on the beach.”
The Hollywood Reporter, who broke the original story, said the movie was set to revolve around a series of shark attacks and a drug ring at one point.
