Backstage News On TNA’s Plans For Homicide, The Heatseekers Are Coming To PWS Ten Thirty One

Impact WrestlingBackstage News On TNA’s Plans For Homicide

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TNA originally brought Homicide back to the company to work some X Division matches.

There were no plans to use him in the future other than in some multiman matches, but plans changed after he got over so well with the New York City crowd. TNA even rewrote parts of some of the shows so they could build him up as a contender for Samoa Joe in last week’s X Division championship match.

Homicide was due to work last week’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Bethlehem, PA, but dropped out due to some shoulder and elbow injuries, as was previously reported

While Homicide didn’t appear for TNA, he was able to appear at Pro Wrestling Syndicate’s “All Fired Up” event in Rahway, NJ after he personally guaranteed he would appear. Click here for Homicide’s role on the PWS show, and for full results from “All Fired Up”.

The Heatseekers Are Coming To PWS Ten Thirty One

Speaking of PWS, former WWE Superstars Curt Hawkins (Bryan Myers) and Tyler Reks (Gabe Tuft) were also part of the “All Fired Up” show, which saw Myers take on friend and former PWS Champion Kevin Matthews of Reality Check.

After the match, Myers turned on Matthews after “Vince” appeared, cutting a promo on how Myers and Matthews were fired from WWE. Tuft revealed himself as the man under the Vince mask, and the former Heatseekers were reunited. The following video features the Heatseekers making a challenge to Matthews for PWS’ “Ten Thirty One” show, with Matthews getting a partner of his choice:
