Samoa Joe Health Update
Source: The Wrestling Observer
Samoa Joe was reported to have vacated the X Division championship at last week’s Impact tapings because he was not medically cleared.
It’s now being said that Joe suffered some kind of shoulder injury, either in his September 16th match with Austin Aries, or the September 17th match against Gunner. (Air dates are to be determined)
Joe will most likely not be 100% for Bound For Glory, but there is still hope he will be healthy enough to wrestle either way.
Wrestle-1 Booking PPV
Wrestle-1 is being allowed to book the Bound For Glory pay-per-view because it was part of a money-saving deal brokered by Jeff Jarrett when he was still in TNA.
TNA is only responsible for travel costs and talent pay, with Wrestle-1 handling promotion along with producing a television show in Japan for the event. Wrestle-1 would then transmit their show over to TNA headquarters in Nashville, and Mike Tenay and Taz would do voiceover work for the American audience, which will air at 8pm locally on a tape delay.
